I still celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year, but kimono is just from Japan :-)

There is a big story behind the kimono and what each part means to those in the know. I spent almost four years there during the occupation and kimonos were rather plain but the meanings were the same.

One piece of cloth and two different meanings. For me it is a showpiece from our local museum. For you it is a part of your life... .
